One Hope
These are just but a few verses and passages from the inspired word of God that speak about the hope that we have that leads to eternal life (Matthew 12:17-21 NASB, Matthew 19:29, Matthew 25:46, Mark 16:15-16 NASB, John 3:16, Acts 2:22-26, Romans 2:7, Romans 5:2-8, Romans 8:18-25, Romans 15:13, 1 Corinthians 9:10, 1 Corinthians 13:7, Galatians 5:5, 1 Timothy 1:16, 1 Timothy 6:11-19, Titus 3:4-8, Hebrews 5:7-10, 1 John 1:1-4, 1 John 2:20-25, 1 John 5:11-13,20), with God the Father, and his Son Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit and all the blessed in the new heavens and new earth (Isaiah 65:17, Isaiah 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1). And hope does not put us to shame because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who God has given us (Psalms 119:116, Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Acts 5:32, Romans 15:16, 2 Timothy 1:14), this hope that we have is an active hope, by the works that we do reflect “the glory to God” through the light of our Lord Jesus Christ in us (Matthew 5:14-16, Romans 2:7-10, Romans 15:7, Colossians 1:27 NASB, Hebrews 2:9, Hebrews 13:20-21, 1 Peter 4:12-14, 2 Peter 3:18, Jude 1:25).
